The individual selected for this role will be supervising the team. This includes ensuring that merchandising and the image of the outlet meet the corporate criteria, communicating the needs to the Product Manager, monitoring store sales while also supervising and authorizing changes/orders of furniture and other elements of decoration and signposting. The role also requires the supervision of the operational team which entails defining the required resources, organizing inventories and prioritizing tasks.
The selected person will also be setting up and communicating weekly schedules, allocating resources based on day-to-day tasks.
Customer service is an essential contributor to Zara’s success. Considering this in order to ensure excellence in customer care the selected person will be responsible for the resolution of customer complaints, manage refunds and organizing day-to-day resources to ensure that all floor zones, cash registers and fitting rooms are adequately manned. Furthermore, the best customer experience may be provided in a clean and safe environment and thus the individual selected will need to ensure a high level of cleanliness within the store and common areas while also making sure that all health and safety elements are being respected.
In doing all this, the right resources need to be available. This is possible by means of effective recruitment, continuous training and staff evaluation. These aspects will also fall under the responsibility of the chosen candidates and s/he must ensure that the best practices are adhered to.
The ideal candidate for this role would have previous experience in a similar role or at least at a supervisory level. Individuals applying for this role must have a good level of the English language a keen interest in fashion. Applicants for this role are expected to have good communication, leadership and decision making skills whilst having attention to detail, the ability to work under pressure and a flexible and customer-centric approach.
